Happy Halloween!!!

We are ready, at least I think we are ready. Barkley and I went and ran our errands on Monday night in preparation for today's festivities. It's been a tad cold around here lately so she's donning the 2011 fall line of "cute sweaters a la Walmart".

We purchased all the candy. I've been told by many in our neighborhood that this is not enough. After Grayson carefully inspected the photo, we have concluded that you can't get the depth of the bucket and therefore the view is skewed. I still say this stuff will last an hour.

To give you an idea of how hard core we are, notice exhibit A below. This is our neighbor at the edge of the neighborhood. To keep his lawn from getting demolished, he puts up these caution signs. He has had this out for the past two days. Sending a strong message I think.

Then last night we had our own chili cook-off. I made two huge pots of chili using different mixes. Well have this for after we get done passing out candy. Please note the depth of the brown bucket in the background.

There is one surprise left and that is Barkley Lou's costume. I'll keep you in suspense until then!
