It's a great day to be alive ...

For a few important reasons:

1. The dishwasher is getting installed TODAY! I fully intend to retire as the resident dishwasher and go back to choosing when I want to handwash our dishes.

2. The AC man came last night and told us to contact him ASAP next time we have a problem!

3. We are closing on our house ... again. We got a good rate and are locking it in.

4. The pups got groomed this weekend after last week's mini-disaster. They have been so cute and well-behaved lately (for the most part).


4. We go to week 2 of Financial Peace University. We loved it last week and we even finished our homework early on Saturday! We're very much looking forward to the small group fellowship and learning some new tips tonight.

5. Grayson will pick up my book club book for this month, "The Red Tent". I borrowed it from Meg a few years ago when I was flying somewhere, but I never finished it. I have heard it is a good book so I'm pumped to start it!

6. This marks the last week that I have to come in to work at 7:30 and take a 45 minute lunch break. Next Monday we go back to our regular work schedule which means I can get more stuff done in the mornings and spend more time with the pups at lunch.

7. The Saints have their first home game in the Superdome since winning the Super Bowl. How fun will that be?

All in all, lots of reasons for me to be in a great mood today!
