We had a great time this past weekend visiting with friends and family in Waco, Tx. We drove down late after work Friday evening and were able to catch up with the Guinn's (Ashley's high school friends). The next day we got to celebrate Ashley's grandmother's 80th birthday in Academy, Tx. It was the first time in a couple of months for the entire family to be together again. We made sure to capture the memory with a few photos for posterity. Here are all the cousins w/ Grandma:
<-- G & me (note his new hair-do)celebrating Grandma's 80th!
After the birthday celebration, we got to pretend that we were college students again. Since Grayson had never seen the campus, the Guinn's gave us a grand tour of Baylor University. Afterward we went to dinner and ate fantastic Mexican food and spent a majority of the time talking about finances, college and reminiscing about the good old CHS days.
Grayson and Guinn hit it off so much that Julee and I were left to entertain ourselves by learning "Soulja Boy" on utube. Guinn & G were supposedly "chaperoning" the fraternity party while we were away. We eventually made it to the Phi Chi party (@ 11:30pm!) and we danced the night away, reliving our college days all over again. We had a blast and
can't wait to visit the Guinn's in Austin next year!

Ha! I have loved reading all of your posts! I have had several friends start these and I think this is a great way to keep updated.
Grayson's hair looks really good!! How fun you got to relive the glory days in Waco - are the Guinns related to a Professor Guinn from Baylor Law School? If so, he was my professor!
Hope you are having a great week!!
ha! ashley and g, i loved the blog. I will be sharing it with guinn as soon as he gets home. maybe we, too, should become bloggers.

Ashley and Grayson, we had a great time with you both last weekend! Indeed, reliving college days can be a blast - thanks for making the party! Look forward to future opportunities to bring sexy back and back that thing up...
