RIP Banker Hairdo

Finally, after a few evenings of gentle prodding on my part, Grayson finally did it! He re-joined the ranks of 20-somethings all over again and gave himself a new hairdo!

Getting things set up.

In my quest to make our house a home, I ran across some of my old college pictures. Apparently, Grayson and I attended the same ZTA function without realizing it. To my shock, I found a picture of a good-looking Grayson with a buzzed haircut. I screamed in joy, "You look hot here!" After many failed attempts to send Grayson back to "spikey" hair, I thought there would be no chance he'd hear my arguments toward the "buzz" look. Yet, to my joyful surprise, he not only heard me out, but began to rationalize all the positive effects of a buzz cut:

1. Now, when he washes his face at work, he no longer has to worry about messing up his hair. (Did any of us know that he worried about this to begin with?)
2. The trim would greatly decrease his morning routine, thereby giving him ample time to sleep.
3. His wife thinks it looks good.
4. Now, he will be forced to get a few questionable moles on his head checked-out.

Obviously, the case was sealed after reviewing the pros of getting a buzz cut. At 9:30pm last night, the decision was made, the blades came out and the perfectionism hit its peak. While Grayson worked his "Edward Scissorhands magic", I sat back and watched the 1950's comb over transform into a 2008, "Ben Covington-like" masterpiece. I love my husband, regardless of his hair style, but please won't you enjoy with me the beauty of the buzz-cutt? Even if it lasts for just a little while :)
