Day 7: The Greene House
It was here that I lived for 3 years while attending school. Not the best photo, but it's the what I had on hand. I think this house represents the first real feeling of freedom and independence I experienced in college. I was able to buy my own groceries, cook, clean and feel like a responsible adult. When I think of this house, I think of the glass door knobs that sat on every door. I remember the porch swing out front and how many good conversations were had there. I remember the hard wood floors and the way they creaked at night. I remember spying on our neighbor and feeding stray cats. I remember the warmth and feeling of family that came from a bunch of girls sharing their lives together. It was here where deep friendships were formed and when the Lord began weaving the story of our lives together. What a special thing to be a Greene Girl!
