So many Bachelor questions.

Oh My Gosh! Did you love last night's episode as much as we did? I think last night was one of my favorite episodes thus far in Bachelor history. Well, not so much the entire episode, just the part where Brad broke every Bachelor rule and flat out told Emily that he was falling in love with her! We re-wound that part three times because we loved it so much. You can't write stuff like that people!

Onto the questions that were posed in our household last night ...

1: Do you think Brad picks out his clothing for this season or do you feel like he received help from an ABC intern? The reason we questioned this is because Brad doesn't really seem like a "cabby hat" sort of guy, yet he blatantly packed the black cabby to take with him to S. Africa. Weird? We thought so too.

2: Didn't you love that green jungle shirt on Chan-tell? Do you think I should get a shirt like that? We were thinking that her hair coloring is very similar to mine so if the shirt color looked good on her, maybe it would work on me. I don't wear green that often, but after last night's episode I think I may start.

3: Did you notice the slightly unflattering way the aforementioned green shirt showed only part of Chan-tell's midriff? Particularly, the side part that was semi hanging over her shorts? That's horrible to mention, I know, but the question was posed. The answer in our house was yes, we both noticed it.
3b: A long, flowy, multi-colored dress? Really, Chan-tell?

4: Did you feel that Chan-tell alluded to doing more than talking on the overnight date? Did you also think it was in poor taste?

5: A tree house, in the middle of the safari jungle with only a bed and a mosquito net? Seriously? Aren't they worried about catching malaria or some other weird jungle disease?

6: Do you think Emily's teeth are real? If so, aren't they beautiful? If not, give me the # of her dentist!

7: Do you think Emily already had those perfect tall, brown jungle boots or did she just happen to have time to go shopping for that perfect outfit prior to this trip? How is it possible that she looked so perfect out in the jungle? I want her style.

8: Did you notice how Brad initiated physical touch more with Emily than with any other girl? We particularly liked seeing those simple displays of affection as how we are now Team Emily!

9: Emily won best dressed last night, hands down. That's not a question, just a statement.

10: Do you agree that Emily handled the overnight date card invitation in a classy manner? We particularly loved how she set the expectations for the evening and how she communicated her intentions about the overnight date so no one would be confused. We also particularly loved Brad's face upon learning she would take him up on his offer. And yes, we paused the tv on his face just to read his non-verbal cues.

11. Do you have so much respect for Brad after he broke the rules and told Emily he was falling in love with her? We do. Here's our analysis of that decision ... last time Brad was on this show, he didn't wind up finding love. This time around, he is putting himself out there, he's getting constant therapy so he can make a connection and knowing how fragile these girls are, he decided it was better to reassure Emily that he cares for her in order to keep her invested in the process, rather than follow the rules and risk ending up with nothing. We think it's in his best interest to end up with a relationship at the end of this, rather than follow the rules. Way to go, Brad!

12. Did you also know that Ashley's date was going to be a major-bust after the phenomenal date with Emily? We had no clue who was getting sent home last night until the end of Emily's date. That's when we knew Ashley was a goner.

13. Did you find it odd that when he asked her where she wants to live she never even mentioned Texas, Austin or the south? Come on Ashley, you gotta get in the game!

14. Is anyone else concerned that we haven't seen the conversation between Brad and Emily about Brad wanting to live in Austin? Does this make anyone else a little nervous?

15. Why did Brad take all the responsibility for the poor communication between Ashley and him last night? He wasn't the one communicating poorly. She just wasn't being clear ... at all! We had to pause the show numerous times on that date in order to try and comprehend what was going on and we still had no clue! In Grayson's words, "That date was a hot mess!"

16. Did you know that when he pulled Ashley aside during the rose ceremony that he was gonna give her the boot? I didn't. I really thought he might give her another shot, but Grayson called it right away and he was right. I was still holding out hope that Ashley would redeem herself, until Ashley made the statement, "Just do what's best for you". That's when I knew she had retracted too far! You could read the frustration on Brad's face. I think he made a good decision in letting her go.

17. And last and most important .... Who in the world is Brad going to propose to? We are majorly Team Emily and really want her and Brad to work out. We are hoping that ABC is throwing us major edits and trying to throw us for a loop with the whole "Brad crying while he is hugging Emily" scene. I hate next week's episode where the women tell all, but we'll watch it regardless.

So ... that was a small introduction into the Allen household on Monday nights. We are weird, really really weird. I suppose these are the sort of questions you get when you take a counselor/speech communication major and sit her next to a detail oriented, logical man watching a cheezy, semi-fabricated reality tv show. These are the things we think and discuss weekly and I'm hoping we're not alone in it!

Ahh! I love you and your analytical ways. I agree with you and G on all points. Especially: Emily's outfit and classy handling of fantasy suite, Brad's classy handling of dumping Ashley, and Chantal's green shirt. Team Emily!

I agree with ALL 17 points. As far as Chantal's shirt...it did need to be a few inches longer :). I am soooo team Emily and have been from day #1. I'm a little nervous though -- I'm afraid of getting let down!

Can't wait to watch the finale with y'all....Grayson HAS to be a part this time

Okay so I have always wondered about all of their outfits. Who really owns that many cute clothes and evening gowns. Do they give them money for clothes or do they have dresses for them to choose from. On the same note, do they also do their hair everyday? Because it is ALWAYS perfect on every girl. Anyways, totally TEAM EMILY, but I fear its Chantal. I just am dissapointed a lot at the finales. Thanks for an insight into the Allen household on a monday night. It always makes me feel like I was right there with you.

yes you could totally wear that color green. tip: don't weat it with jean shorts. khaki would have looked so much better and more safari as well. she could have done that with a cute gladiator sandal and been perfect. and yes emily with her boots was precious. her sequined skirt was fine. i want her legs!

Our debate.."Do they 'sleep' on the overnight date?" I strongly feel that the answer to that question should be no...but the single key suite seems to dictate quite the opposite. Oh I hope that Emily didn't have to think he just hooked up with C. the night before her great date. Why do we have to wait 2 weeks? Argh...test of patience.
