Recruitment

I love my role as the Panhellenic Advisor. It gives me the opportunity to interact with more students in a fun atmosphere and it helps me to feel young. I stay up to date on all the "news", I am at least somewhat hip in their trends and I get to relive my college days through these girls. They are a great group of young women whom I greatly appreciate being able to work with.
This year's theme for recruitment was "Panhellenic's Secret" and they did a great job pulling off one of the best recruitment's yet. They set a record high number of girls going through recruitment and ended up with extremely large pledge classes for this campus. They were each so helpful throughout the process that it made my work so much easier!One of my favorite parts was getting to dress alike. I know it's really dorky, but it was so fun to feel part of a group and to be included in this leadership oriented group. I was very proud to be a sorority member myself and had a blast getting young freshmen girls excited about becoming one too. We'll definitely be making some changes for next year, but ultimately it was a great success and something that was very rewarding.
