Last weekend Grayson and I went to Jonesboro to root for the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers as they competed in a playoff game vs. Menard. It was perfect football weather, nice and chilly.
Their blue uniforms looked so sharp. The school was pumped up and excited too. They had banners, balloons and the crowd was full of local supporters. 
The game was so exciting, up until half-time anyways. Each team returned touchdown for touchdown, keeping it an extremely close game. It was one of the better high schools game we have seen in a while.
We enjoyed some hot chocolate at half-time, watched the dancers perform (my favorite part) and enjoyed catching up with friends and family.
Then came the second half, which sadly did not fare as well for the Tigers as the first half. Things sort of unwravelled and went downhill for a 40-20 loss. But that's okay, overall it was a good season and we're already looking forward to another great one next fall!
