Awkward!

So due to the fact that I'm having a lazy week, let's just say that our pantry isn't quite up to par. This has resulted in peanut butter & jelly sandwich dinners along with numerous trips to restaurants around town for lunch. So today, in an attempt to salvage some nutritous options, I decided to head to subway. Not bad in the scheme of things, I guess? Anyways, when it comes to Subway I have this thing against going inside of them. Basically, I avoid it because I'm just not a huge fan of smelling like fresh bread for the rest of the day. (I will do it, gladly, for occasional lunch dates though) Anyways, because of this and the fact that we only have 45 minutes for lunch, I decided to hit up the drive through today.

While placing my order I made a point to be impeccably polite and thus replied back with frequent responses including: "Yes, ma'am I would like wheat. Yes, ma'am I would like it toasted. And yes, ma'am that will be all for today." You can imagine my horror and awkwardness upon my arrival at the window to see that it had been a MAN with whom I had spoken. So much for manners ... awkward!
