I've been meaning to post for a while, but we have a new summer work schedule and so I've been quite busy with longer & fuller days. One HUGE perk to our new summer schedule is that I'll get off at 12:30pm every Friday!!! This is amazing! I fully intend to spend my time wisely by laying out at the pool, possibly taking naps, etc ... well, not really, but it sure sounds good.
As of today, we will begin taking full advantage of this new schedule as we plan to head down to San Antonio for the weekend. Leaving early will definitely make the 8 hour drive more manageable. We are heading to SA because Easton is getting baptized/christened this weekend. I have the honor of being his unofficial god-mother, so I'm very much looking forward to participating in the baptism and promising to love him and point him toward Christ throughout his lifetime. I'm so excited to fill this role and pour into him all that I know about Jesus!
In honor of his baptism I thought I'd post some pics that Erin and Matthew got of Easton a few weeks ago. I'm sure he's changed so much even since these were taken. I can't wait to see how different he is now that he's 2.5 months old. I plan to squeeze in as much cuddle time as possible this weekend ... so stay tuned for pics next week!
