Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that?

Grayson and I are going on a family cruise in exactly two months! We are so excited that we can hardly contain ourselves.

We are going with his entire immediate family for a summer vacation. I'm told that the last family vacation where every child could attend was 6 years ago, so this is a major feat that everyone can go. It took about three weeks, major hours spent on the cell phone and numerous "requests-off-from-work" forms to be completed for us to plan it, but we finally completed the details and everyone is set to go. There will be 11 of us setting sail at the end of June for some major relaxation, sun tanning and fun times.

We'll get to see Cococay in the Bahamas where we fully intend to lounge on the beach and start soaking up the sun. Here is a pic I found online ...
Then we get to go to St. Thomas where we went for our first cruise. We are really looking forward to this trip because when we went before it was raining and so we had to cancel our excursion to Magen's Bay. Magen's Bay is listed as one of the top ten beaches in the world, but due to the rain we experienced we were told that the water would be murky and not as pretty. We're expecting no rain on this trip and so we fully intend to snorkel and take tons of pics as we enjoy this beautiful destination!

Our last stop will be at St. Maarten. We LOVE St. Maarten and are so excited to go back. This is where they make the infamous guavaberry rum which we fully intend to purchase and bring home with us (Christmas gifts, I think so!). This stop will be filled with plenty of shopping, maybe some sight seeing, but definitely more time at the beach! Just look at that water ... so beautiful!
After my last post I had quite a few inqueries about the cruise that I mentioned. So this'll be it ... 7 days of pure, uninterupted relaxation. Being the geek and planning type that I am, I've already gone online and checked out our cruise ship. The entertainment looks to be amazing (that's a personal favorite for me and G), he's obviously super pumped about all the food, we're equally anticipating some delightful treats at the spa and of course, a workout facility with 24 hour access. We like to take full advantage of the ships we sail and this one will be no different. Except that there's a surf pool, an ice skating rink and a climbing wall (so I'm told). We definitely will have plenty to do from the moment we board to the moment we disembark. I already have the countdown started ... 57 days to go!

I second the jealousy comment. Life without kids. . .enjoy it while you can :) I can't wait to see some great pictures!

I third the jealousy. I would love to go on a cruise. That would definitely make a good girls trip somewhere down the road.
