I think it is good for me to have a consistent appointment with my blog at least once a week. If nothing else it gives me an outlet to vent, process and "connect" with those of you out there who read this.
Okay, so last night (sadly), I found myself alone watching "The Batchelor". Don't worry though, it didn't stop me from talking out loud and cringing at certain awkward moments. Grayson didn't get home until late and I'm afraid he didn't even realize he had missed the show until I caught him up on the details. They are as follows:
* I'm starting to like Jillian a lot more. She is turning out to be much more of a free spirit than I thought. She has a fun personality and I find myself wanting to get to know her more. I mean, Jason getting to know her more.
* Melissa is impressing me more and more too. She seems to be really sweet and interested in getting to know the other girls. She seems concerned in most of the shots that they show.
* I feel bad for Shannon. Throwing up on national televsion? I'm not sure it gets worse than that. I think she is sweet, but don't think she's the one. You can tell she has a tender and caring heart; she's funny too. Secretly, deep down where the cameras won't let us go I know she's funny.
* Nikki is not going to last, too much of a perfectionist. I'm glad blondie is out of there too. I definitely cried watching the reunion between mom and daughter on the beach. I thought doing something for breast cancer awareness took the show in a new, positive direction.
* I'm dying to know why Jason can't give out the last rose next week. He is really surprising me with his boldness to go against "The Batchelor" norm. I bet he can't give it out b/c he doesn't like more girls than he can keep and b/c he's so great, he won't want to "lead them on" and keep them longer than he should???? What are your thoughts?
Now onto more serious, here in the real life happenings. This weekend was good, it was a long one for me. I got in some relaxing shopping in Shreveport and Monroe and for what I didn't find there I hope to purchase this weekend in Fort Worth.
Our house is currently a wreck, but for some reason in 2009 I've decided to not freak out about things like that (as much).
I plan to set up my new Louisiana cell phone tonight. 2.5 years to fully commit to living here isn't bad, right? I'll get the new number out promptly.
Lastly, the baby boom of 09 has begun. Already 3 out of like a juh-zillion babies have been born. I love getting emails with cute hospital photos of mom, dad & new baby. I would post these pics although I'm sure that crosses some sort of privacy law, but if I do get permission maybe one day in May, after all the little tykes are born, I'll post some pics of all the new babies on the block!

bachelor thoughts:
jillian has grown on me too, i said the same thing. she seems like a confident gal who is really easy-going.
kari should never have been sent home over that megan girl. i've never been more convinced that the producers are making him keep her on the show because she causes trouble and increases ratings.
i love stephanie, but i dont think he will pick her. i want to be her friend though. she's the kind of girl i want to go have coffee with.
