Happy Thanksgiving

Inspired by numerous friend's blogs and the fact that Thanksgiving is tomorrow, I thought I'd make my list of "THANKS!" to share with the world. Some silly, some serious, all of them from the heart ...

Here's what I'm thankful for ...

* Seasonal coffee from Starbucks ... it means the holidays are here
* The hassle of contacts ... it means I can see
* My sore muscles from running ... it means I can walk
* The motion sickness I might feel in a few days ... it means I'm on vacation
* The price at the pump ... it means I have a car
* Early mornings at work ... it means I have a job
* The gifts I recently purchased for Christmas ... it means I have people I care about
* The sometimes lonely feeling I experience ... it means there are people I miss
* The sports-talk radio show I listen to every morning ... it means I can hear
* The task of cleaning our home ... it means we have a roof over our head
* The eight hour drive we will make to San Antonio ... it means we have family to visit
* TC, the cat ... it means I'm learning how to love the unlovable (ha!)
* The "discussions" that Grayson and I have ... it means we are sharpening each other
* Netflix ... it means we are being better stewards of our finances
* Our church ... it means we've found a place were we can connect

What a refreshing feeling to look at all the things in life that are truly blessings that enrich our lives. I pray you and your family are blessed during this Thanksgiving season.
