I have been tagged by my good friend Julie to list 5 of my quirks. Lucky for me, I have been called "Quirky" numerous times in my life and so this wasn't too hard of a post for me!
1. I cannot go to bed with a dirty kitchen. I will, but I don't like to. It is the best feeling in the world to fall asleep knowing that when I wake up and head to the kitchen for breakfast that dirty dishes won't be staring me in the face. I am sensitive to smell, more than most probably, and so there is little else worse in my book than to wake up to leftover, raunchy dinner smells. This is why we are making it a tradition in our home to at least clean the countertops and put our dishes away before retiring to bed.
2. I don't eat soup without having crackers, bread or chips to go along with it. There is something illogical to me about eating liquid for lunch or dinner. I am very big on texture and so it is important that I think I have eaten something of substance in addition to my soup.

4. You know those suction cups that are on both ends of the shower curtain? Well, it is imperative that they be fully suctioned, on all 4 corners during the entirety of my shower. This quirk heightens in importance during the winter months because I am convinced that it truly does help to capture the warm air in the shower, making it less freezing upon exit. I have become very good at knowing when one of them comes undone due to drafts that appear in the shower.
I always make my bed before getting in (assuming I didn't already make it that morning). Just look at this picture, now this looks appealing to me. It looks fresh, inviting and clean. There is just something about getting into a made bed that I feel, helps me to sleep more soundly. Then again, maybe this is why it is on my quirk list. Now that I've completed my list, I tag anyone reading this who feels the urge to identify some of your quirky areas and then share them with the blogging world!
