Greene Girls Reunion & an adoption.

While this past weekend was TCU's Homecoming, Grayson and I decided to make a little bit of a different trip over to Houston instead for a Greene Girl's Homecoming. Megan adopted her foster son Cooper so we all wanted to be there to support and celebrate their new "Forever Family". Megan was kind enough to host us for the weekend and we were able to surprise her with a visit from Lauren. It has been over a year since we were all together so we welcomed the opportunity for a few hours to catch up.

Here are the Greene Girls: Sarabeth (with baby Underwood due in April), me, Lauren (who flew in all the way from Colorado) and Megan (new mom to Cooper Lee!)
Grayson always has fun playing with Cooper. I believe he was introducing him to the marvel of cell phones. Cooper was a gem this weekend. He was smiling, talking and running around all over the place. He showed us his new house where he and Megan will start living next week and he was a delight to be around.

Here is a picture of "Cooper's Capsule". It's a time capsule with something in it from each of the Greene Girls. The plan is for Cooper to open it in 5 years, on their family's anniversary. We are very excited to see where the Lord takes Meg and her family and to support them along the way. We can't wait for more Greene Girl memories that are still to come!

This celebration was perfectly complete with my Greene Girls family there to rejoice with us. Thanks for making the trip and making us feel so valuable! Love you!
