Graduate School of Banking

I just realized it has been almost 2 weeks since my last post. Sorry, for the delay. I really try to be good about positive reinforcement and giving everyone their due reward for checking in on our lives.

Let's see ... first of all I would like everyone to know that I proudly received payment from my father-in-law in the form of 4 shiny quarters when the SPURS beat out the Hornets. It was great to watch them become victorious, again. It wasn't as sweet though because Grayson was in Baton Rouge for his banking school. We did call each other after the win and we walked through each major amazing play that brought us to victory.

That brings me to my next point ... Grayson is currently at his yearly banking school program at LSU. Don't even ask me what he's learning, he tries to tell me each night and I'm still at a loss. All I know is that he is loving it and becoming more and more passionate about his job with each passing day.

I actually went for a surprise visit this weekend and managed to pull a fast one over on him. He thought I wasn't coming and then I showed up Saturday morning after his test. Sadly, I made it the entire time without taking one photo (shame on me!). We had a blast and got to enjoy LSU's gorgeous campus mixed in w/ Baton Rouge's nasty humidity.

Highlights from the weekend include: me getting lost 3 times before finding Grayson! lounging by the pool while reading great books, visiting w/ Natalee & Dax, eating some great "Chipotle-like" burritos, watching the new Indiana Jones flick, sleeping in and eating some great, fresh shrimp. Although the weekend was short, it was still relaxing. We're on a countdown until Grayson gets to come home ... 4 days and counting :)
