West Monroe has actually joined the ranks of gourmet bakery stores around the nation! Cupcakery's are one the biggest growing trends these days (and I'm not normally a trend setter or a trend follower) and this is definitely a trend I want to be a part of.Have you ever watched "The Hills" and seen them go into Sprinkles for a quick snack? Or maybe you've gone to NY City and stood in line for hours at Magnolia Bakery for a slightly overpriced delicious treat? Even Las Vegas has a cupcakery shop it can boast about. And now we can say that we live 30 minutes away from a town that offers delicious cupcake treats in an assortment of flavors and designs. Curl's Cupcakes just opened and has an amazing assortment of wonderful desserts to choose from! We went last weekend and tried their pumpkin & red velvet cupcakes. No doubt we will go back during their "cupcake happy hour" and try some of their other flavors for half-price. You can never really go wrong when it comes to dessert!
