This weekend we made a quick trip down to Zachary to celebrate our niece, Charlotte's, baptism. Grayson is the godfather and below is a really terrible pic taken from my phone of Grayson, Madalyn, Charlotte and her parents.
After church, we headed back to the Menge's house for a delicious crawfish boil. This was my first of the season and boy did I make up for it. We were glad to celebrate such a sweet milestone in Charlotte's life.
While we were down there, my phone started blowing up with pictures and news of the Pike fraternity house being on fire in Ruston. No students were injured, but I heard some of the firefighters were and ultimately the house was completely ruined. It was a sad day for some around Ruston, but I'm hoping in a few years the house will be bigger and better!
Lastly, Grayson is two weeks out from taking level 3 of the CFA. If we can just get that test behind us, all will be well again!
