Let the Games Begin!

No, not the Hunger Games, Greek Week Games!!! It's that time for me again, time to oversee the activities associated with Greek Week. This week looks to be a fun, albeit busy, week. From 5k's to speakers to the first annual Songfest to field games to donating blood, Tech's Greek organizations are prepared to have some fun while giving back!
Last night was the kick-off to a fun week. I'm here with some of our Panhellenic girls who ran the St. Jude's "Light the Night" 5k glow run. I've never done a night race before and it was so much fun!!! They handed out glow sticks that racers wore and of course, everyone had on their neon outfits. At the end we got splattered with "glow paint" which was really nothing more than colored chalk. All in all, it was a fun race and I actually set a PR!

My Panhellenic girls have put in a ton of time planning for this week. I'm anxious to see how each event turns out. Up next, a pie eating contest and the Dawg House burger challenge. Gag reflexes, prepare yourselves to be put in action!
