Yesterday I received a rather large package from the FedEx delivery man. Sadly, I was expecting him, but that didn't change my level of excitement.
I have received flowers like this before, about 4 years ago. Grayson went online and ordered flowers direct from Hawaii. He had to order them a week in advance to allow for the long shipping time to travel all the way across the Pacific.
I accidentally saw his browse history on our home computer which is how I knew to expect them. Either way this is a great gift because not only are the flowers unique, but you get to put the arrangement together yourself!
The flowers are packed layer by layer and are covered in damp, shredded newspaper. These layers kept going and going!
I half-joking, half-seriously mentioned to Grayson that this gift is a perfectionist's worst nightmare bc I kept thinking I was arranging the flowers wrong or that I wouldn't create a "good enough" display. After getting a little help from my creative boss, I was 100% satisfied with the end product. A beautiful, non-traditional display of Hawaiian flowers.
