with Booties.I know I probably shouldn't, but I receive weekly updates from various shoe stores alerting me of the newest trends for the next season. I'll be the first to confess that in no way am I a trendsetter. It generally take me about 2-3 seasons until I can really get into something "trendy", but of course, by then it really shouldn't be defined as trendy if it's still around? Right? I digress ...
A few years ago I realized that booties were becoming popular. I remember this because Grayson's best friend Dave got engaged in the fall and his then fiance wore the cuties black booties to their engagement party. I remember the outfit exactly: black booties, black tights with a sophisticated long sleeve black dress. I remember thinking, "Wow, those shoes look amazing, but I don't know if I have the courage to get some of my own." Well, obviously I still don't have the courage because I've yet to buy a pair. To my defense though, I did want to purchase a pair last year, but Grayson wasn't having it. But I've decided that this is the year!!! I WILL get me some booties and somehow I will attempt to pull them off!
Any ideas of how to pair them? I know for sure I'll do them with leggings and a skirt of some sort. Any other cool ways that you know to wear them?

She is right!! You were made for this look and it is surprisingly comfortable. You just have to try it once and you will be good to go!
I need to get a new pair because I wore mine out with slacks too. So if you see any winners - let me know!!
