Some of you may not know this, but Grayson is really good at cutting hair. He has a set of what I would consider fancy grooming tools that he used all throughout college when he would cut his roommates and friend's hair. I even recall him cutting a friend's hair right before his wedding! Now that is trust.
He cut his hair for a while, but then when he decided to let it grow a little bit longer he opted for a barber. But the other day we decided to put his skills to good use and trim up the pups. We had the hardest time getting them to the groomer due to shots, poor hours of operation etc ... So "we" trimmed them ourselves. I basically held them in place while he worked his magic. 
Brinley got a nice close trim so she won't be so hot. Now she looks like a little rat.
Barkley has more poodle hair so she took a little bit longer. She gets super hot a) because she's a little chunker, b) b/c her hair is thicker and c) b/c her hair is black black black! She was a champ and let us get her a good cut. With less hair though she somehow thinks she is a speed racer and runs around the yard more than ever to show off her speed and mad-dashing skills.
After they were properly groomed, we also clipped their nails and gave them a bath. It truly was a spa day for the puppies! I'll try to get an after shot to show you just how little they look!
