Gina's Wedding

I headed down to San Antonio this past weekend to celebrate one of my best friend's weddings. Gina and Nate were married Saturday night in a gorgeous ceremony. We started the festivities off with a fun bridesmaid's brunch that had a red & white Valentine's Theme. We heard all of the details about the upcoming weekend from Gina while gushing over their honeymoon trip planned to Puerto Vallarta.

We headed back that evening for the rehearsal and dinner which were both fabulous. Below are some of the girls in her wedding party. It was so fun to reconnect with girls from high school, some of whom I hadn't seen since we graduated 10 years ago! Everything went smoothly and then we were off to eat dinner at Tomatillo's, which is amazing by the way. I can't believe I had never eaten there before!

Cassy, me and Gina.
We had so much fun watching a slide show and making toasts that night.
By the time Saturday morning came around, we are all so ready to get things started. We followed the typical wedding day schedule: hair, make-up, get dressed, take photos THEN get married. Gina was so calm throughout the entire day, never once letting on that she was overwhelmed or nervous. She just relaxed and let the day take its course. She was a beautiful bride.
The wedding was beautiful and had so many personal touches to it. Gina & Nate did a great job thinking through every detail of the ceremony. Then came the reception which was super fun. The food was delicious, the dj played great music and I basically had my high school 10 year reunion a few months early thanks to all of her friends that came.
And here are the new Mr. and Mrs. Bain!
And here is a pic of some of the high school buddies that made it in for Gina's wedding. Makes me look forward to our real reunion this May.

The weekend ended with me going to the rodeo, hanging out with Easton, Matthew & Erin for a little bit and then picking out some fabric for my mom to use to make our bedroom curtains. I am now back in Louisiana recuperating from the 9 hour drive and enjoying this gorgeous weather. I'm definitely looking forward to being back in San Antonio in only a few months!
