Tuesday's Talk.

So I don't think Grayson will mind if I share our evening activity from last night. You guessed it ... we rushed home, quickly prepared dinner, whipped out the tv trays and sat right on down to watch the two-hour season premiere of "The Bachelor". No shame about it. Grayson even gave me full reign of the remote, for the whole night! This was a huge deal seeing as how there was a big football game on at the same time.So it's no secret that this show appeals to women, but apparently Jason (ie: the show) has appeal for men too! We got hooked at the end of last season. This generally happens to us, we don't realize a show even exists until there are 3 episodes left and then we're hooked. We were both very disappointed at the results of last seasons Bachelorette and were therefore thrilled to see Jason return this spring.

You would probably laugh if you were a fly on our wall during the show. You would think we were related to Jason or at least his best friend based on our comments to each other. We apparently think we know better than he of who his wife should be. Don't worry either, we definitely took out a pen and paper and rated the women on their first impression and voted for our top 15 (We were only wrong on 4!). We weren't prepared to make THE prediction so early on though. I anticipate that bet coming in the next few weeks.

We are very excited about this show which is why probably every Tuesday you'll have the opportunity to hear our thoughts on the previous night's airing. I'll say a few more things and be done ...

1. The girl with the hot dog theory!?! Weird, but kind of accurate.

2. We currently are rooting for Molly. Awkward how she made him actually perform his golf swing at their first encounter, but we're chalking that up to nerves.

3. The Dallas cowboy cheerleader will probably go far, but is she really "mother material"? We're not sure yet.

4. Has anyone else found themselves trying desperately to catch a glimpse of the winner in the trailer? We know she wears a blue dress and we're fairly confident she's brunette. Is this cheating?

5. You know you are a truly dedicated fan when you watch the show even though you don't have TEVO and have to agonize through all those commercials!

i watched it too, although not WITH maurice, so we were reduced to texting back and forth about our favorite girls, as well as the crazies (example: the vision-board gal and the crazy myspace stalker). Do I think he let some good ones go? i sure do. but he also kept some good ones. I'm a Molly fan as well, as well as the girl in pink. Her name escapes me.

It would make me really happy if we could get a weekly bachelor blog with your thoughts on the previous night's events.

think about it.

Ashley, I just loved your post! We also liked Molly, and the girl in pink I believe is Carrie (from KS!). We also liked the lady who had been widowed, although she seemed to have had a little too much plastic surgery... And, what's up with DeAnna making an appearance???? Good grief. Get her off the show. I had two girlfriends call me today to just chat about HER coming back. It will be interesting to see what happens there. And -- last point --could you and Grayson tell there were a few parts that Chris Harrison's voice had been "dubbed" over during the show? Tacky, but very audible. Made me wonder about that... it's a first that I know of. =)

This is so funny. I did not watch it (my husband had control of the remote- um, football). My mom is totally into it and she loves this guy (apparently she watched last season too). I guess I'm missing out!
